As with many, a very bad experience. Not checking earlier for any reviews is my problem. I ordered an icemaker in May and have had to email and call constantly to get any kind of status. It's September and still no clear idea of when it will arrive. The only hopeful status update was in my online order that the item was finally at Goedeker's and was finally awaiting shipping. 2 weeks later, no update so I called once again. They said item was damaged and so another had to be ordered which would take another 3 weeks. I would recommend being very aware of what you are considering when ordering from Goedeker's. The prices are attractive and they continue to run deals but it all does not matter if you have to fight to get your product.
I order a table on 6/1/2020 and did not receive it until 7/19/2020. I cancelled my order BEFORE it shipped, but could not get a hold of anyone for weeks. I tried calling a million times, emailing twice, messaging on Facebook, instagram, and even Twitter. Somebody finally got back to me and told me they couldn't cancel it because it already shipped. Meanwhile I sent multiple emails trying to cancel it BEFORE it shipped. They would not help me at all and told me if I returned it, it would cost $*** in fees, when I only paid $*** for the table to begin with. The WORST business I have ever dealt with. I will never buy from them again and will do everything I can to convince people to not buy anything from geodekers.
I ordered a grill from this retailer. They charged my credit card for over $*** and send me a receipt that says that the item is back ordered by the manufacturer,.After two weeks I call to get an estimated delivery date. Wait on the phone for 2 hours and eventually give up. Called 2 days later. 90 minute wait and I finally got a live person who apologized and told me that she would call me back with an update. Never heard from her. Have called twice again but after 2 hours I gave up. They tell you to send them an email, but they don't reply. I called the manufacturer who told me the item is NOT BACKORDERED and is available from stock. Goedekers is a fraud and should be shut down. I will file a complaint with the State of Missouri Attorney General for false representation and theft of funds that they have not yet earned. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS.
I ordered a white dining bench from them worth $*** May 27 2020 and they charged me right a way!!. They stated that they have stock online.. after a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, a month, 2 months no item has been delivered to me!!!! you can never get anyone on the phone, no replies via email!!!!! this company is a scam!!! never ever order from them!!!!!!!
These people should literally be locked up. They are taking money from people and never sending them their orders. They are also not responding to anyone attempts at contacting them for refunds. *** I personally spent $*** on an outdoor tiki bar and what I received was 4 cheap stools. Not the item I ordered and not even close to worth what I paid. Multiple attempts to contact them through email, phone, facebook (basically all of their social media accounts) and no response. So I guess I'm just out $***? This is happening to a ton of people and I wish I would have looked into them before placing my order. Lesson learned. I hope this prevents someone from making the same costly mistake that I did.
WARNING! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered this dishwasher a month ago (30+ days ago today) and it still hasn't arrived! After getting no updates, I called- sat on hold forever- told that I they would get back with me- within a couple of days, the delivery was finally scheduled. This was setup for last Friday and the delivery company called me around the time window that it was supposed to be delivered (keeping in mind that we had to have someone ready and at the home waiting for a 5 hour window) and they cancelled due to a "driver emergency". Now we are nearly a week later, no return call, no re-scheduled delivery and only rude "we will get back with you" answers each time I call. Only after calling 11 times, 8 emails and 3 additional emails asking that my order be cancelled and money refunded, I get an email telling me that if I cancel my order they will charge me nearly $*** in shipping charges and take it from my refund. This is now day 31, no appliance, no firm delivery scheduled, and now they are basically threatening to keep half of my refund if I cancel an item that still has not arrived! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I would never order anything from this company again! BUYER BEWARE!!!!
