The agent that called me seemed interested in talking to me while I was trying to make a decision, but once I was a 'completed' sale, couldn't be bothered with customer service. Each person I talked to, talked way too fast, assuming I knew all related information to life insurance. Seemed disorganized. The most well run part of the whole thing was the medical professional who came to the house to do my physical. I wouldn't necessarily recommend AIG.
I was worried I wouldn't be approved because I have MS but as a Veteran who has maintained life insurance throughout my service, it's difficult to think that my health wouldn't get me insurance but since that health was approved I have found all the agents and literature to read easy for me to understand and sign up. Thank you to all those who have helped me out.
I don't really have much to compare to. Would only speak to my mom about her policy which I liked. Got us a low price. Polite.
Agents were responsive, and took the time to understand what type of coverage I need it. Several agents work together to sell me the product, and to follow-up to ensure the product was ready.
Had good experience getting a second policy with AIG, although there was some misunderstanding about measurements in my application. It got all resolved just took extra time. Have good experience so far.

My agent was great at explaining all of my options and keeping the process moving forward.
The Agent: *** was very responsive during the marketing stage but after my money was deducted, there was no acknowledgment of the premium and no policy was issued. The phone keeps ringing and no response, also no replies to emails.
