I have had a few good years of service with Print Safari but unfortunately as the years pass I'm more and more disappointed. In 2022 we had an issue with the turn-around time and shipping. This year one of our sponsors on the brochures had an error and was printed as a black box. This was very disappointing to see as the sponsor pays to have their logo printed. It is a pretty obvious error to have missed. Although I had a quick reply when I reached out about this on July 1, I'm still left in limbo on a resolution. We would like to see a refund of the brochures, as a reprint would be too late.
The prints were excellent. The process could be improved with regards to communication. I received an email letting me know that the cards were going into production, however I didn't receive any further communication. It would be nice to receive an email letting me know that my order had shipped. I was left wondering what had happened. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with printsafari!
The print quality of my postcard project was very good, apart from some kind of "shadow" printing on the reverse side of my postcard. My wrapper (flyer) project was excellent. Communication was only adequate, it was difficult to know what stage my project was in.
I intend to use PriintSafari again though, because as mentioned, print quality (and paper) was very good.
The quality of the cards is very good. My only issue is that there is a print shadow on the back of all the cards. I'd be interested in ordering in the future (trading cards), but the shadow issue would have to be resolved.
Pricing is good, shipping was ok, though they were not packaged for protection.
I ordered hole punching and no holes were punched in my order. I’ve already sent 100 calendars out to my customers. This is very frustrating!
I used the layout service and it made it so easy to get my calendars designed, and I was very happy with all the designer’s creative choices. She put in an extra effort to make sure I was fully satisfied with the layout. I did have some issues with some of the calendars when they arrived - they didn’t come off the press quite right, but I was able to discuss the matter with the support team and we came to a resolution that was satisfactory. Despite the issue, I will order from Print Safari again because they stand by their products and worked to make sure I was happy in the end.
Highly recommend! I've been using Print Safari for several years now and they have always exceeded expectations.
Production times are not accurate. The website is a little misleading, it appears the company is Canadian but it is a German company, all customer service is handled in Germany, and all c/s reps I spoke to made me feel very uneasy about dealing with this company. Greeting cards get printed in USA and shipped to the Canadian lab. Customer service told me cards would be ready on time, then turned around and said no they would be delayed another few business days, only when I insisted that I could not wait that extra time, did they decide to process the order and ship it on time. There is no way to expedite greeting cards, the website talks about rush service but it is not available on greeting cards. I will be dealing with my local labs moving forward because I cannot trust this company will meet their actual production times and customer service does not do a good job of reassuring clients throughout the process.
The print quality, consistency and cost has always been great. What is frustrating is the lack of communication and misrepresented printing times. It's stated that a 4-7 day print would be upheld but it was 10+ days without any communication. When I inquired there was no response and an immediate notice of shipping, which seems odd. This has happened on my last two orders.
